Pricing 2026: architecture, hotel and Airbnb photography rates
Architecture, hotel, interior design and Airbnb photography and video in Mexico — reference rates by project type.
We publish our rates because we believe the budget is part of the conversation from the very first email, not a surprise at the end. These are the current 2026 fees for Foto de Arquitectura’s four lines of work: hotels, architecture, interior design and vacation rentals.
Each figure is the creative fee: planning the session, the production day and post-production of the final images. Add-on services — aerial drone photography, video, styling and usage licences — are added according to what the project needs. If you would rather have a firm number for your case, ask us for a quote: we reply within one business day.
Fees by type of project
1. Hotel and resort photography
The fee depends on the number of rooms and the areas to be covered: guest rooms, suites, pools, spa, restaurants and public spaces.

2. Architectural photography

6. Notes
- Fees cover the creative rate (shoot + editing). The usage licence is agreed separately, based on where the images will finally be published.
- There may be an adjustment within each range depending on the size of the client, the logistics involved (travel, number of sessions) and whether the project targets the domestic or the international market.
- All figures are in Mexican pesos (MXN) and do not include VAT.
- The reference rates assume projects in Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara. Outside those markets, travel is quoted separately.
Fixed photography, drone and video packages
Alongside the per-project price list we offer fixed drone photography and video packages with a set number of delivered images, designed for real estate developments and campaigns that need stills, aerials and video in a single production.
For web design for architects and digital marketing services we do not publish a rate card: the scope varies too much between a five-project portfolio and a site with a blog and live campaigns, so it is quoted to measure.
Frequently asked questions about our pricing
Do the prices include VAT?
No. All fees in the price list are in Mexican pesos before tax. The formal quote itemises the applicable VAT.
What exactly does the creative fee include?
Planning the session (scouting, shot list and time of day), the production day with professional equipment, and post-production of the final images: perspective correction, colour and clean-up. The usage licence is reviewed separately depending on where the material will be published.
Why is the usage licence charged separately?
Because using a photograph on your website and social channels does not cost the same as using it in a national print campaign. If the material will only be used on your own channels there is normally no extra licence cost; for paid advertising or unlimited commercial use, the rates in section 5 apply.
Do you charge for travel?
The reference rates assume projects in Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara. For the rest of the country we quote transport and accommodation separately, always in advance and with no surprises on the final invoice.
How long does delivery take?
Between 5 and 10 business days depending on the number of images. For Airbnb and vacation rental photography we work on an accelerated schedule so you can update your listing as soon as possible.
Can I book the drone on its own?
Yes. Aerial drone photography can be booked as a standalone service from $2,500, although most clients add it to an architecture or hotel session so the whole project is covered in a single visit.
